Help us spread the word! Every other Saturday, St. Matthew is proud to serve families who are in need of food assistance by passing out non-perishable food boxes from 9 am to 12 pm. Each box is given on a first come, first serve basis and feeds a family of four for 3-4 days. Please share the program and invite people to come to our church campus every other Saturday to make use of our program. For questions, email bdey123@gmail.com.

Upcoming dates:  June 30

UMW Unit Meeting

There are no regular Unit Meetings during June, July or August.

Morning Glories meetings are 9-11 a.m. on first and third Tuesdays of most months. All women are welcome.   In 2018 we are starting something new on a trial basis (Jan. – May).  First Tues. will be program or speaker at 9 a.m. in C6/7.   Third Tues. will be breakfast out.  Locations TBA.  RSVP required.   Contact Karen Anderson (480) 892-2082 or Bev Secrist (480) 345-9420 for more information.

In June we start our summer schedule with just one gathering each month.  The dates will be as listed in your UMW Directory (July 10, Aug. 7).   (July date is on 2nd Tues due to the July 4 holiday).   So far we plan to have our summer breakfasts at the Denney’s on Rural and 60, at 9 a.m..  I have reserved the private room.  It will be crucial to have accurate sign-ups as they require $100 in sales, not counting tips, so if we have low attendance we’ll let them know ahead of time, and be in the regular dining area.
