Sharing the Blessings:
St Matthew members have distributed food boxes every other Saturday to the needy families in our neighborhood. We get the food in bulk quantities from Midwest food bank and from Salvation Army and repackage them into individual boxes that can support a family of four for 3-4 days. The leftover food is given to various school social workers to be distributed to needy families and children in those schools. Contact Bill Hedges for more information.

Photographs for the ChurchTrac Online DIrectory

St. Matthew's software system for keeping track of member data has changed. Our new system, ChurchTracOnline, is web-based. The new system allows for you to upload your information including pictures and email addresses onto the system by yourself. You will be given the "address" to enter the directory and review your information. In addition, we are offering an opportunity for you and/or your family to be photographed so that your new picture will accompany your information.

The sessions for January are completely filled. Sign-up sheets are available for February 4th. See Karen after 10 a.m. service in the Chapel.  Or if you are interested and want to be photographed, please contact Karen at karen.obscureobservations@gmail.com or call Belle in the office at 480-838-7309. This is an ongoing project which will be continued until everyone who is interested has an opportunity to be photographed. Christmas Eve

The 9:00 a.m. Christmas Choir Cantata was one of the most beautiful, uplifting, joyous experiences St. Matthew has had!  Thanks to the Sanctuary Choir and the Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Ben Shafer, for the glorious music that filled a full sanctuary this morning. The congregation gave them a well-deserved standing ovation!

4:00 p.m. Children's Family Worship: "God's Promise Came True" . See Live Broadcasts under Worship Tab

5:00-7:00 p.m. Living Nativity - a wonderful presentation by our Youth and some not-too-cooperative animals!

9:00 p.m. Worship presented a view of "The Manger: Presence" by Rev. Dr. Joan Miller.  The Sanctuary Choir thrilled us with "O Holy Night", followed by communion and candle lighting.

11:00 p.m. Meditative Worship with Candle Lighting and Communion

Hands of Joy Concert

The Hands of Joy Annual Christmas Concert was held on Sunday, December 17th at 3:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary.  They were joined by our Hands of Praise Youth Signing Choir. If you weren't there, you missed an uplifting joyous experience.

Join the Sanctuary Choir! Or the Bell Choir!

The choirs are back in full force with the Sanctuary Choir resuming rehearsals on Wednesday evenings at 7 pm. and the Bell Choir rehearsing on Thursdays at 6 p.m. We would love to have you be a part of a choir this season. All you need is a willing heart, a desire to sing or learn to play the bells, and a little bit of time! For more information on the choir or any of our other Music Ministries, please contact Ben Shafer at ben@stmatthewmesa.org or at 480-358-7923.

Join the Hands of Joy Sign Language Choir

Rehearsals have begun! Join us Wednesdays from 6 pm to 7:30 pm in the Chapel. All are welcome! You do not need to know how to sign. If you would ever want to just learn some sign language but never perform with the choir, you are more than welcome to join us. You only need a love for the Lord and an adventuresome spirit!

New Office Hours
